El artista que me llamó más la atención fue Golan Levin creador de Flog, en la que expone su trabajo y el de sus colaboradores. Su trabajo abarca performances, instalaciones, artes gráficas y proyectos on line.
Me interesan principalmente las piezas intectativas tipo net.art, ya que sólo por medio de la intervención de usuario (aveces inconsciente) pueden ser concebidas. También me gustó el trabajo de Ken Perlin en tanto a que la presentación de sus trabajos es sencilla y fácil; antes de darte cuenta ya has clickeaste en todos los links.

"Axis (2002) is an interactive applet driven by a simple database of arcane sociopolitical factoids. The project allows its users to connect three countries into a conceptual "Axis" defined by their common properties in this database. ."
The Secret Live of Numbers (2002) is an interactive data visualization and online artwork, commissioned by Turbulence.org. An exhaustive empirical study was conducted to determine the relative popularity of every integer between zero and one million. The resulting information exhibits an extraordinary variety of patterns which reflect our culture, our minds, and our bodies—forming a numeric snapshot of the collective consciousness. In The Secret Lives of Numbers, these analyses are returned to the public in the form of an interactive visualization, whose aim is to provoke awareness of one’s own numeric manifestations.
Alphabet Synthesis Machine (2001) is an interactive online artwork which allows one to create and evolve the possible writing systems of one’s own imaginary civilizations. The abstract alphabets produced with the software can be downloaded as TrueType fonts, and are entered into a comprehensive archive of user creations. The products of the Alphabet Synthesis Machine probe the liminal territories between familiarity and chaos, language and gesture.
Escogí estas obras porque me parecen buenos ejemplos en los que se utilizan metáforas que no podrían ser expresadas con otros medios.
